It's probably controversial but I don't really see the problem with polygamy in its purest form. Not the buying selling manipulative bullshit that the Yearn for Zion and FLDS groups have going on in the States, but in its purest form, I think it's okay. Men by nature want/need to spread their seed and polygamy sort of solves this problem whilst still maintaining the principles of marriage. It has featured in groups in Asia and Africa as well as the US and in many religions.
For it to work time, money and resources have to be divided evenly. I think jealousy would be an issue, but could be managed.
Something to ponder.

hmmm bout polygamy. Well, it's true that most male mammals are polygamous, and it's true that polygamy was practiced even by the Jews, who preceded Christianity, up till the 4th century (and some more recent). And who's to say that you cannot love more than one person... BUT, it raises problems. Like what about polyandry? And most women would abhorr the practice (even though people just go and have affairs and cheat these days). I think all parties should be at least consenting. And most women, even if they consent, are not gonna FORGIVE their husbands in their minds. They not gonna feel he's hers or in love anymore. And fairness and zero competition, selfless love is neccesary. Which is hard because sometimes one person gets marginalized. What do you think?
